✅ where I live it is compulsory to vote, so I went and did that! Proud to have fulfilled my civic duty... while I am still allowed to do that :))))) because there are, sadly, no guarantees that possible new federal government will keep democracy alive :)))))))

💥 2 migraines. 1 due to very loud classroom noises and 1 due to presidential elections. I'm still sort of dumb in the brain because of the last one so everything is very slow.

📓 I have honestly no clue what I did for work in the last week. I know I went? That's it.

👣 kept up with the gym streak despite the migraine. I'm at 14 weeks of showing up and my legs are stronger! Pilates instructor commented on it today :D

📚 read and finished many books. Decided I need something comforting that 1) was a bit spooky and 2) distracted me from real life horrors re presidental elections. I settled on Ann Rule's Green River, Running Red, about the Green River Killer, and it's what I needed. I'm very shocked about the amount of underage sex workers just... freely walking the streets in the '80s, though.

📽️ spooky month means bad spooky movies! I watched Do Not Enter (2026), which was about a group of urban explorers and the (haunted) hotel they end up at, and it was such a bad watch I couldn't even laugh at it. Then, Night of the Reaper: turns out I had watched this before??? Still liked the vibes and the story up until the twist. Then I just laughed and that was fun :D

🎧 back to listening to Malevolent! Got through episodes 42-43 and the emotional whiplash was such that I had to take a break from it again. I need to recover before I continue.
